This study examines the implementation of visitor management tools in Slovak urban destinations, focusing on their role in mitigating negative tourism impacts. Using cluster analysis, cities were classified according to their life cycle stages, identifying opportunities and barriers for visitor management implementation. Data was gathered through structured questionnaires and expert interviews. The findings reveal a lack of systematic visitor management, emphasizing the need for data-driven strategies and digital innovations. The study offers policy recommendations to enhance urban tourism resilience and sustainability.en© autorinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessriadenie návštevníkovspráva návštevníkovvisitor managementmestský cestovný ruchcity tourismurban tourismudržateľnosťsustainabilityVisitor management as a strategy increasing resilience of urban destinationsArticle
