Prípadové štúdie v sociálnej práci
(Belianum.

Cybersecurity by design: Modeling processes first
(Univerzita sv. Cyrila a Metoda v Trnave, 2025) Siládi, Vladimír; Randlisek, Miroslav
Universities are increasingly exposed to cybersecurity threats focused on personal data, research information, and IT service availability. Their open, decentralized environment, characterized by academic freedom, also increases vulnerability to cyber-attacks and internal security weaknesses. Effective cybersecurity management in this context requires structured, transparent, and coordinated processes that respect the specific characteristics of academic life. Business process modeling (BPM) can serve as a practical tool to document, improve, and communicate key security- related activities. This contribution explores how BPM tools can support cybersecurity process management in universities. Specifically, it compares two modeling tools OpenBPM and ADONIS, in terms of their usability and effectiveness for visualizing selected processes related to university cybersecurity. The focus is not on the tools themselves, but on whether process clarity plays a more significant role than the tool choice. This contribution aims to share practical experience by comparing the usability of BPM tools in supporting university cybersecurity managers in balancing academic freedom with effective security management.

Pedagogické, umelecké, strategické a psychologické aspekty tvorby vo folkloristických telesách a edukačnom prostredí
(Verbum - vydavateľstvo KU : Ružomberok, 2025) Urban, Martin; Žitniaková Gurgová, Beata
Pedagogical work in folklore ensembles, in educational and leisure environments is a complex process, requiring a system and interconnection of experience, skills and professional education in several areas. In this paper we describe selected aspects of the process, from the pedagogical training of teachers, music and dance educators, for the preparation of children and young people, performers – future artists, to the creation of a work of art and its revival on stage. The psychological aspects of the above-mentioned phenomena broaden didactic and artistic perspectives.

Changes in thoracolumbar spine following a 10-week corrective exercise programme in students of performing arts
(Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego im. Bronisława Czecha w Krakowie, 2025) Marko, Michal; Adamčák, Štefan; Azor, Stanislav; Bartik, Pavol
Introduction: Students of performing arts, in particular, music students, are vulnerable to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) because of prolonged static postures and asymmetrical loading associated with instrument playing. Objectives: The study aim was to evaluate the impact of a 10-week corrective exercise programme on improving thoracolumbar spine in female university-level students of performing arts. Materials and Methods: A true experimental design was used with 25 female students of performing arts, divided into an experimental group (n = 15, 60%) and control group (n = 10, 40%). Pre- and post-intervention evaluations were conducted using Schober’s, Stibor’s and Otto’s tests. Non-parametric statistical analyses were applied. This work was supported by the Scientific Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic – Grant No. 1/0512/24: Epidemiology of Musculoskeletal Disorders in Students of Performing Arts. Results: The experimental group showed statistically significant improvements in all three spinal function tests: Schober’s (from 3.06 ± 0.60 cm to 5.40 ± 0.82 cm), Stibor’s (from 6.46 ± 0.64 cm to 9.20 ± 0.86 cm) and Otto’s (from 4.12 ± 0.98 cm to 5.86 ± 0.36 cm), all with p < 0.01. No changes were observed in the control group. Between-group comparisons at Week 10 confirmed significant functional improvements in the experimental group (all p < 0.01). Conclusions: The 10-week corrective exercise programme significantly enhanced thoracolumbar spine (function) in students of performing arts. These findings suggest that low-cost, targeted interventions can effectively address posture-related musculoskeletal risks in this population and should be integrated into the curricula for performing arts.

The impact of the war in Ukraine on the development of wheat and rye prices: An analysis for the period 2018 - 2024
(Vysoká škola technická a ekonomická v Českých Budějovicích, 2025) Kaplanová, Beata; Kovač, Vilém; Ištok, Michal
The aim of the work is to assess the long-term development of wheat and rye prices in the period from 1 December 2018 to 1 April 2024 and to analyse the impact of the war in Ukraine on these prices. Analyses of the price development of these commodities are important for assessing economic stability and food availability. The prices are obtained by content analysis and then plotted in graphs. Using linear regression, it was found that the prices were not time dependent, Also, the prices of both commodities are found to be stable and very similar until the period of war in Ukraine. The latter had a significant impact on wheat and rye prices, with prices doubling after the start of the conflict. Subsequently, prices started to fall again, indicating market adaptation to the new conditions. Limitations of the study include the limited scope of the available data and the potential bias of the results due to the effects of other factors. Further research would benefit from including an extension of the analysis to include other influencing factors and increasing the frequency of data collection for more detailed analysis.
