Abstrakt

The paper is dedicated to the institute of cooperating person. This institute serves to identification of a serious criminal activity and its culprits, especially in case when the law enforcement bodies fight with lack of evidence. Professional public has been pointing to deficiencies in legal regulations for a long time, and also to insufficient practical application of this institute, and these issues should be settled. The paper provides an overview of legal regulations amendment related to the cooperating person, adopted within the amendment of the Penal Code in the Act No. 40/2024 Coll.
