Položka Assessing the accuracy of evaluations for managerial positions prone to corruption risks(Czestochowa University of Technology : Czestochowa, 2025) Závadský, Ján; Osvaldová, Zuzana; Závadská, Zuzana; Hiadlovský, Vladimír; Bujda, PavolThis article aims to evaluate the accuracy of two distinct methodologies—the multi-criteria (MC) approach and the process-based (PB) approach—for assessing corruption risks in managerial job positions within ISO 37001-certified organizations. Unlike prior research, this study is the first to directly compare these methods using standardized risk scales, allowing for a quantitative assessment of their accuracy. The PB approach analyzes critical decision-making activities, while the MC method uses predefined weighted criteria. The study calculated a Job Position Corruption Risk Number (JPCRN) under both methods and introduced a novel accuracy metric (ΔJPi) representing the difference between them. Although the MC method provides acceptable overall accuracy (average ΔJPi = 0.16), it becomes less reliable when organizations have very few or many high-risk positions. The findings underscore that organizations with elevated corruption risk profiles need to adopt a more precise PB method.Položka Dôsledky obchodného modelu rýchlej módy a analýza tokov odpadov v priemyselnom podniku. Prípadová štúdia(Belianum. Vydavateľstvo Univerzity Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici, 2025) Bujda, PavolThe textile industry is associated with negative environmental impacts due to the constant use of pesticides and polluting dyes, excessive use of water and electricity, and the release of emissions and polluting fumes into the atmosphere. Textile waste ends up in landfills or is incinerated, which poses a risk of soil, watercourses and air pollution. The increasing amount of textile waste and the lack of technologies for its recycling lead textile companies to seek alternative options for managing this type of waste and to the inevitable implementation of a circular economy. This article highlights the consequences of the fast fashion business model and alternative ways of dealing with textile waste. An analysis of waste flows in an industrial company is presented through a case study. The discussion presents possible solutions and ideas that could be applied in textile waste management in the fast fashion model.Položka Textile waste management in fast fashion and solutions for transition to a circular economy in the industrial company Chemosvit Fibrochem(Slezská univerzita v Opavě, Obchodně podnikatelská fakulta v Karviné, 2025) Bujda, PavolThe textile industry is associated with negative environmental impacts due to the constant use of pesticides and polluting dyes, excessive use of water and electricity, and the release of emissions and polluting fumes into the atmosphere.
