The paper presents an introduction to the study of inclusion and exclusion in Slovak and German discourse, focusing on the definition of core terminology, the analysis of inclusive communication, and the examination of media expressions within their social and cultural contexts. The research is conducted within the framework of a VEGA project and offers new perspectives on understanding the dynamics of inclusive and exclusive processes in Slovak and German contexts, highlighting their significance for social integration and language policy.

Dans ce chapitre, nous proposons une analyse de l’image médiatique des individus vulnérables en prenant l’exemple des personnes âgées en tant qu’objet discursif pré-senté par les médias de masse, vecteurs des polyphonies énonciatives. Avant d’entamer cette analyse, nous introduirons brièvement l’objet d’étude et le situerons par rapport aux contextes scientifiques pertinents pour la mise en place de son exploitation scientifique.
