dc.description.abstractParents have a huge responsibility to create a positive environment for their children in which they feel comfortable in their own skin. Research by experts at the national or international level points to a trend of increasing negative body image among children and youth, as well as changes in the educational activities of parents. Despite this, not enough attention is paid to the family in the context of raising a positive body image and self-acceptance. The priority of protecting children and youth from negative influences that threaten their self-image and mental health is prevention, and the family plays a key role in it.
