Abstrakt
The article discusses the issues of a comparative study of homonymy in phraseological units of the Slovak and Ukrainian languages. The relevance of the topic is determined by the insufficient development of the problem of interlingual phraseological homonymy in Slavic linguistics, as well as by the practical needs of translation, lexicography, and intercultural communication. The aim of the study is a systematic comparative analysis of homonymous relations in the phraseological fund of the two languages, the identification of types of interlingual phraseological homonyms, and the development of an algorithm for their disambiguation. The research employs a comprehensive methodology combining lexicographic, componential, contextual, and comparative methods. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the developed four-component typology of interlingual phraseological homonyms, which takes into account structural, semantic, and functional parameters. The proposed typology includes: 1) absolute phraseological homonyms (units with complete formal correspondence but semantic divergence); 2) incomplete phraseological homonyms (units with partial correspondence of component structure); 3) contextual phraseological homonyms (units that acquire homonymous properties only in certain discourse conditions); 4) etymological phraseological homonyms (units with a common historical source that have undergone semantic divergence). The author developed disambiguation algorithm, which includes the identification of formal correspondences, analysis of the semantic fields of components, and contextual verification. The proposed typology and disambiguation algorithm allow for the systematization of existing linguistic material and the prediction of potential communication risks. Prospects for further research include expanding the source base with dialectal material, creating a specialized electronic corpus of phraseological units with marking of homonymous relations, as well as compiling a bilingual dictionary of interlingual phraseological homonyms.
